Our vision is that all children should have access to adventure as part of their education and development.
At Wide Horizons we never prescribe what an adventure should be. The definition of adventure differs from person to person and a two year old will have a very different perception of adventure to an 18 year old young person.
To frame our work and to establish a way of identifying the components of an adventure, we have developed the Adventure Learning model. Not only do we ensure that all of our services have an aspect of each component, but we are embracing the model as an ethos of operation throughout the organisation.
